Right now I know as a fact that
\((1+x/n)^n = e^x \)
However, I'm not sure what happens when
\(((1+x/n)^n)^2 = ???\)
Or even when
\((1-x/n)^n\)
you make complex numbers look very easy *dizzy*
Simplify [(1 + x/n)^n]^2 =((n + x)/n)^(2 n)
Simplify (1 - x/n)^n = (-(x - n)/n)^n
You've not got it quite right! You need to take the limit as n tends to infinity to get the exponential function:
