9=5*10^-10+log(x/5)

Divide both sides by 5*10-10

9/( 5*10-10 )   evaluating this, we have.......18,000,000,000

Therefore.....

18,000,000,000 = log (x/5) .........This says that......

1018,000,000,000 = x/5       Muktiplying both sides by 5, we have

x = 5*1018,000,000,000      .......which is a REALLY BIG NUMBER   ......  !!!!!

Corrected answer.......(thanks for catching my error, alan!!!)

Subtract 5*10-10 from both sides

9 -5*10-10 = log(x/5)      evaluate the left side

8.9999999995 = log(x/5)

Exponentially, this says that

108.9999999995 = x/5          multiply both sides by 5

5*108.9999999995 = x  ≈ 4.9999999942435373 X 109
