A lion loping around its territory at an initial velocity of 5 m/s spots an old antelope, which lies motionless at a distance x. The lion accelerates enough that it catches the prey within a time of 3 seconds. What was the final velocity of the lion if its acceleration was 10 m/s2?

final velocity = intial velocity + acceleration*time, so

final velocity = 5 + 10*3 = 35 m/s
