a pyramid has a square base measuring 10 inches on each side. it has 4 faces that are congruent isosceles triangles. the height of each triangle is 13 inches. find the surface area of the pyramid

There are four triangles each having an area = bh/2 = (10*13)/(2) in2

So......(4)(10*13)/2 in2   = 260 in2

And the area of the base = 102   = 100in2

So...the total surface area =  [ 260 + 100]in2 = 360 in2
