Seriously, what frickin crappy language is this site for? People are writing in different tongues and it is infuriatingly frustrating!

I'll admit......this IS a problem on this site......whenever people attempt to write with their tongues, it tends to be very difficult to decipher

We've tried to encourage them to use their toes, but, alas, this hasn't been that successful, either.

So....in the end.......we will go back to what we have originally suggested........use your fingers and the keyboard that came with your computer.......these two options seem to work best........

Just relax!. This site might get one question PER MONTH in French or Spanish!!!. Is it a crime, especially when it is not answered?

Of course not, I was just upset cause I was rewriting the question and solving it with a lot of detail and then my iPad malfunctioned and deleted all my hard work. And it was not easy finding the definition of each work.

I'd say we get proper questions in a foreign language ever day or two.

I love it.  I love that this is an international site.  I love that i can go to an online translator and work out what someone is asking in some other language.  I am thrilled to be a part of this global community.

I am also thrilled that mathematics is a language unto itself so I don't always need to use a translator to know what a Mongolian or Chinese or Swahilli or any other person is asking me.

Some other maths sites demand that people use English.  I do not understands this at all !!

People are always so puzzling!

Well said Melody. I heartily agree with you. Language is one of myfav subjects. But a malfunction is a very aggravating thing so excuse my frustration please.

Yes guest, malfunctions can be extremely frustrating.

You just need to be careful to keep you frustrations where they belong.

I expect that you are forgiven. :)

Hahaha, Melody and Cphil. There is nothing wrong with speaking "old fashioned". Though my friends may consider it a fault of mine, I very much enjoy speaking in such a way. I relish any possible chance at confusing my friends. And if that seems somewhat "mean" think of it as "enlightening" them as to the usage of proper English.

Also CPhil, if that was not meant simply as a clever joke. A tongue is another way to say " ones native language". Though not used commonly today. I believe you will find it used most in the Bible. But I may be mistaken, that assumption was on a 12year olds limited reading time.

What insolence doest mine eyes behold: Ye haveth names of twain, and they be Elaine and Grace. Do thy names belongest to thy tongues, or is thy tongue only one yet be forked like that of a serpent?   Enlighten us, fair maiden.

It seemeth thy phone and tablet be smart but it stopeth for thee at the twelfth annum of thy life.

What say ye, Sir CPhill? Didst thou pun(ish)eth us with thy words, or hath the great affliction of this land  that thee knowest as CDD come upon thee in a great wave of thunder so that even the gods be deaf?

Good eve to thee Chiurgeon Tud.

Sir CPhill be a knight that be clever of tongue.

He hath not been infected with CDD on this fair day!

His tongue, his toes AND his fingers all work the way God planned for him.

Excuse my ignorance but who be Elaine and Grace?

Good evening to thee, Your Majesty.

The news ye speakest of Sir CPhill be good indeed! It surpriseth me not.

The names of Elaine and Grace be those by an inscription on the post that be insolent toward Sir CPhill, Majesty.
