A Constitution is the basic principles and laws of a nation, state, or social group that determine the powers and duties of the government and guarantee certain rights to the people in it. In other words, the main and primary purpose of any Constitution is to put restraints on the gevernment in what it can and cannot do in governing the Country. The effects it may have on the lives of its citizens in their day to day events is secondary. In that respect, the U.S. Constitution may have more effects of the daily lives of its citizens than other Consistutions of many other countries. But, of course, I don't really know the Constitutions of most countries of the world, and therefore it is difficult to say. That is my two-cents' worth of venting opinion on this matter!.
