Let's see.....we have the points

(-2, 1) , (-1, .25), (0, 0), (1, .25) and ( 2,1)

Not linear or exponential.....!!!

(0,0)  is the vertex of the quadratic.....  [ a parabola ]

So the form will be

y  = ax^2      and using one of the other points to solve for "a", we have

1  = a(-2)^2    →  1  =  =4a   →   a  = 1/4

So....our function is :    y  = (1/4)x^2
