Does anybody know how log 10 over 30 works or makes sense?

Log has 30 on top and 10 on the bottom

range is 15.7-9.1 = 6.6 and the width is supposed to be 0.98 =~ 1

but i don't know how to do the math correctly

$${\mathtt{Width}} = {\frac{{\mathtt{range}}}{{\mathtt{1}}}}{\mathtt{\,\small\textbf+\,}}{\mathtt{3\,322}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{{log}\left(}^{{\mathtt{30}}}$$

Do you mean

1)     $$log_{10}30$$

$${log}_{10}\left({\mathtt{30}}\right) = {\mathtt{1.477\: \!121\: \!254\: \!719\: \!662\: \!4}}$$

I really do not understand your question.
