y=ab^x

The derivative of this function, dy/dx, will be the slope of the tangent line at any point. It is given by :

dy / dx  =    a * (ln b) * b^x

since b > 1,  ln b and b^x  will always be positive.........and a is always positive

So.....the slope of a tangent line will never = 0
