write an equation of the parallel to the line given by3x-2=8 and having the same y intercept as the line given by 3x+2y=-4. Can you please show me how to this problem. Thank you so much.

Are you missing some part in the equation:
3x-2=8

Should it be 3x-2y=8?

The equation of the parallel where the y intercept is the same as 3x+2y=-4 will be:
3x-2y=-4

Essentially when the value of y is 0, the value of x should be -4/3
