Can anyone tell me how the forums work? Because some questions are about riddles and some are about math, so I got a bit confused...

+590 One more question. What are those 'hearts?' And how do you give/receive them? (Sorry, I'm new...)
If you are a "signed member" and you ask a math question, and if it is answered to your satisfaction, then you can click on that "heart" and give them a point of "+1".
+590 One last question. When I went to the forums page and looked at my username (without going into the question), my name was in bold. Everyone else's username was not. Why is that? (This question might sound a bit dumb) 
Is there a way I can make my username not bolded? (Thanks for being patient with me )
