Solve this Word Problem

 

Jordan has 3 times as many dimes as quarters. The quarters have a total value of 6.60 dollars. 

How many of each coin does he have?

$6.50 /$0.25 =26 Quarters

26 x 3 =78 Dimes

Note: I changed your 6.60 dollars to $6.50, because $6.60 / $0.25 =26.4 quarters !!. You can't have a fraction of a "quarter"
