alright i might have the answer but im only in seventh grade so i might be wrong... ok so if we break down  the kite it makes two triangles. Triangle (A) and triangle (B). (A) has a base of 4 and a height of 10... ok so if we split that in half we get two (A) triangles with a lenngth of 2 and a hight of 10 since we split it in two we just find the area of 10*2 giving us 20 so now we know that triangle (A) equals 20...

for triangle (B) its a hight of 20 and a base of 4 so doing the same as before and splitting it we would get 2 *20 giving us 40 for triangle (B) giving us 20+40 making the area 60

the erea of the triangle being 60ft

Nice, CupcakeShark  !!!!......one small correction.....since we're dealing with area it should be 60 ft^2

CupcakeShark:

- Anything about length: do not put anything

- Anything about area: put "^2"

- Anything about volume: put "^3".
