Solve this for the x coordinate of the vertex  and axis of symmetry

6x - 2  =  0

Add 2 to both sides

6x  = 2

Divide both sides by 6

x  =  1/3

And the y coordinate  is  - 7

So......

(1/3, -7) , x  = 1/3   shifted to the right 1/3 units and down 7 units
