What are you trying to solve for? x?

Replace the < for = and then we will try to see what answers work later.
You would times both sides by (-x+3) , (2x-1) = 0(-x+3)
Add +1 to both sides, (2x-1) +1 = 0 +1, you get 2x =1
Divide both sides by 2, 2x/2 =1/2
Your answer is x=1/2

It will be positive when the numerator and the denominator are both positive

so you solve for that.

then

it will also be positive when the numerator and the denominator are both negative so you solve that.

Then you include both those answers.
