I was wondering how to evaluate Powers of Monomials. Here's a problem to use in an example: $${{\mathtt{\,-\,}}\left({\mathtt{7}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{{\mathtt{c}}}^{-{\mathtt{6}}}\right)}^{{\mathtt{3}}}$$

Use the exponential law that says (am)n = am*n......so we  have

-(7c-6)3 =  -73c-18 = -343c-18

-(7c^-6)^3

Evaluate the terms separately:

-(7^3)[(c^-6)^3]

-(343)(c^(-6*3))

-343c^-18

-343/c^18.
