How do you increase the volume of a rectangular prism without altering the surface area?

It's possible

For instance

Let  L = 3, W= 6 and  H =10

Volume  =   3 * 6 * 10    =   180 units^3

And the surface area  =   2 [ 3 * 6 + 3 *10 + 10 * 6]  =  2 [ 18 + 30  + 60]  =  2 [108 ]  =

216 units^2

 Now.....let  L = W = H  = 6   and the volume is  216  units^3

And the surface area is   6 ( 6 * 6 )   =  216 units^2

So...the surface areas are the same but the volume of the second is > the volume of the first
