how do you find the average

add up the numbers then divide by the number of numbers there are. for example, I want to find the average of 5, 23, and 7. So I add them up which equals 35, then divide by the numbers there were which makes it 1.6666, and so on.

you add all the numberes then you devide in by the amount of numbers. for example if i add 8, 2 and 6 i get 16 so i devide 16 by 3 because there ar three numberes, i get 5.333333 recurring (you might lern that later), that is the average.

 

but wen you use a graph and the points are 4,8,6,3,9,4 and 175 you do not count the 175 because it is way too high (and it would look bad in the graph).
