Mary has a pair of scissors and five cardboard letters. She cuts each letter exactly once (along a straight line) so that it falls apart into as many pieces as possible. Which letter falls apart into the most pieces?

Hmm it looks like O can only into 2 pieces. the letters F, S, H, all tie at 4 pieces. M beats them all with 5 pieces.

This reminds me of several games I have played,

like this one: http://www.kongregate.com/games/TheGameHomepage/3-slices
