I = V/R = 120 volts/ 12 ohms = 10 amps.

 

The current in the toaster circuit is 10 amps.

Use Ohm's Law:

 

Resistance = Voltage/ Current

 

12 = 120/Current

Current = 120/12 = 10 A

 

There are 10 Ampere of current :)
