New life has built a building of 60 apartments, from the past it is known that they charge a monthly rent of $ 150 per apartment, all apartments would be occupied but for every $ 3 increase in rent an apartment would be emptied without possibility of renting. Find the rent to be charged for total income of $ 10,500  per month?     ¿por mes?

By the way, I have to solve with linear equations, if you could help me save the quarter.

What do youi mean by "save the quarter"?      ¿Qué quieres decir con "salvar el barrio"?

Every time the rent increases by  3x dollars, the number of occupants  decreases by 1

SO

Rent = (150+3x)(60-x)    per month

When will this equal  $10500  per month

The answer is never.

(150+3x)(60-x)=10500   has no real solutions.

Here is a graph:

The red curve is  y=(150+3x)(60-x)

The blue line is    y=10500

As you can see, there is no intersection.

Alquiler = (150 + 3x) (60-x) por mes
¿Cuándo será igual a $ 10500 por mes

La respuesta es nunca.

(150 + 3x) (60-x) = 10500 no tiene soluciones reales.

Aquí está un gráfico:
La curva roja es y = (150 + 3x) (60-x)
La línea azul es y = 10500

Como puede ver, no hay intersección.
