I've got a 1% solution, and I've used 1ml of said solution in 100ml of water to treat it. I need to work out how many ppm are in the original solution and in the water treatment mix?

1ml contains 0.01ml of the active agent so
when you mix it with 100ml of water you have
101ml of solution and 0.01 of solute
so
the concentrateion witll be
0.01/101 = 9.9*10^-5 = 99*10^-6
99 parts per million
