We need to find the radius

Circumference  = 2 * 3.14 * radius

 7.85  =  2 * 3.14 * radius                divide both sides by  2 * 3.14  =  6.28

[7.85 / 6.28 ] m   =  radius

And the area, A, is given by :

A  =  3.14 * radius^2    =   3.14 * [ 7.85 / 6.28]^2   ≈  4.91 m^2
