The formula for the volume ,V, of a cube is V=s^3 where s is the length of a side of the cube. Rewrite this formula using a function notation and explain the meaning of the symbols used?

All you need to do to turn this into function notation is replace V with f(x), or whatever is required. In this case, we should replace the s with an x.

f(x) = x^3

Here, f represents the function acting on x, the input.

As we know, V represents to volume, which means f(x) doesas well. s represented a cube side length, and we chose x to equal the same.
