You have to convert minutes to degrees as follows: Example: 36 degrees and 24 minutes. You will divide 24 minutes by 60 =24/60 =0.4 degrees. Then you add this to 36 degrees and you get =36 + 0.4 =36.4 degrees. And that is it.
