if you ride your bike at an average speed of 15 mph, how long will it take you to ride to your grandparents home if it is 3.67 miles away? Express your answer in hours (to the nearest hundredth of an hour). Convert to minutes (to the nearest minute).

Let the number of hours it takes be  " x " .

15 miles / hour  *  x hours  =  3.67 miles

15x  =  3.67

x  =  3.67/15

x  ≈  0.24

And

 1 hour = 60 minutes 0.24 * 1 hour = 0.24 * 60 minutes 0.24 hours = 14.4 minutes

It will take about 14 minutes.

Thanks so much, i don't know why i over thinked this. you did it in a different, but similar way. In my class we our doing unit conversions, although you did it in a simple but effective way, where anyone with a microbrain can understand, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
