what is n when n divided by 4 minus 2 equals 3

(N÷4)-2=3

First add 2 to both sides of the equation. 

This gives you (N÷4)=5

Now multiply both sides by 4.

This should result in N=20.

n/4 - 2 = 3    Add 2 to both sides:

 

n/4 = 5       Multiply both sides by 4:

 

n = 20
