x sin (45º) = 6√2

 

Divide both sides by sin(45º).

x = 6√2 / sin (45º)

 

Replace sin (45º) with √2/2 and simplify.

x = 6√2 / (√2/2)

x = 6√2 * 2/√2

x = 12
