Area and volume

The area A and the volume V of a truncated cube of edge length are:

A = 2\left(6+6\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{3}\right)a^2 \approx 32.4346644a^2
V = \frac{1}{3}\left(21+14\sqrt{2}\right)a^3 \approx 13.5996633a^3.

Thank you Alan.  I was just being lazy!

Is that first answer correct?  I'll tick it if it is.
