Why can you not divide by 0?  Please explain because I think you should be able to divide by 0.

Here's a simple reason :

 

Note :    6  / 3   =  2       because 2 * 3  = 6        [ quotient *  divisor  = dividend  ]

 

But

 

3 / 0   =  ?         because.....  ?  *  0     cannot posssibly return a value of 3  ....  in other words,  quotient * divisor  is undefined
