+168 when working out the gradient how do I know when to leave the answer as a fraction?

+36916 It depends on what form the question asks the answer to be
3/4 gradient is the same as .75 so BOTH (or either) would be correct
UNLESS the question asks for a decimal gradient, then the answer would be .75
