The angle betwen the ships is

 

35 + 90  =  125°

 

After 2 hours ship A has sailed 24 knots  and ship b has sailed 32 knots

 

So....using the Law of Cosines....the distance D, is

 

 

D  =  sqrt  [ 24^2 + 32^2 - 2(32)(24) cos(125) ]  ≈   49.8 nautical miles
