Graph a sine function whose amplitude is 3, the period is 4π, the midline is y = 2, and the y-intercept is (0, 2). 

The graph is not a reflection of the parent function over the x-axis.

 

Use the sine tool to graph the function.

The first point must be on the midline and the second point must be a maximum or minimum value on the graph closest to the first point.

 

I'm not exactly sure how to do this, help?

Start with a sine wave

sin x

Amplitude  3

3 sin x               

Midline y=2    (usual midline is 0....add 2)

 

3 sin x     + 2

 

Period 4pi   (usual period is 2 pi....divide x by 2)

 

3 sin x/2    + 2
