360 - 72 =288 degrees - sum of the other angles.

288 /2 = 144 degrees - one interior angle of the polygon.

180(n - 2)/n = 144 degrees, where n = number of sides of a polygon.

180(n - 2) = 144n

180n - 360 = 144 n

180n - 144n = 360

36n = 360

n = 360/36

n = 10 - Number of sides of a polygon, or a decagon.
