This is become 0.7... is tenfold of 0.07...

 

I just divided by 10 on 7/9. 

 

7/9 ÷ 10 = 7/90

 

The second one is a little more difficult. 

 

 

Let X equal the decimal number 

 

Equation 1:

 

\( X = 0.4\overline7\)

 

\(10X = 4.\overline7\)

 

Subtract equation (1) from equation (2)

 

10X - X = 4.3

 

 

9X=4.3

 

X = 43/90
