I want to know if I solved this problem correctly. I calculated it and there was a decrease of 10.9, but I'm not sure. By checking with the formula, a Cylinder with volume 100 cubic feet has a radius of exactly 3 and a height of exactly 3.5367. By decreasing the radius by 10% it becomes 2.7 and the height increased by 10% becomes 3.89037.

Volume of cylinder = pi*r2*h

V2 = pi*r22*h2

V1 = pi*r12*h1

V2/V1 = (r2/r1)2*(h2/h1)

r2/r1 = 0.9, h2/h1 = 1.1, so V2/V1 = 0.92*1.1

Hence V2 = 0.92*1.1*100 ft3
