Too many hours

It is given that 6 elves can make six horses in 6 hours. Therefore number of horses made in one hour would be;

$${6 \over 6}= 1{}{}$$$$hourse$$

And since there are 6 elves working together, work done by a single elf in one hour would be;
$${1 \over 6}{}{}$$$$horse$$
Therefore the working capacity of an elf is

$${1\over 6}horses/hr {}{}$$
Now we have 60 elves. Therefore the work done by them in one hour would be 60 times the working capacity of a single elf. ie;

$$60 ⋅ {1 \over 6}{}{}= 10 horses/hour$$
We are to make 60 wooden horses. Therefore the time taken to make them would be 60 divided by horses made by 60 elves in one hour.ie;

$${60 \over 10}= 6{}{}$$
Therefore it will take 6 hours for 60 elves to make 60 wooden horses.

sorry for late response
