Wait a minute...... think this is pre calculus!   HaHa..... Anyway.....

First one:   29 years is 2 standars deviations fro mean     and 37 is 2 standard deviations ABOVE mean......

Using _ and + z-score table          2 standard devs below is .0228     2 standard deviations above from the + z-score table is .9772

2.28%                                                   97.72%         The area between these two is the amount we are looking to.....               97.72 - 2.28 = 95.44%          95.44% x 400=381.76 ~~ 382 members

Third one:   using negative z-score table

-.25   S.D.  below the mean represent approx 40%

-.25 x 4.3 =1.075   gm    below the mean       Mean = 120     120 -1.075 = 118.925 gm

so on the last post i couldn't reply cause it was locked, but i already answered them on my own. i don't know how to delete the questions sorry about that, and i wasn't really expecting to gett an answer but courage the cowardly dog helped so i was able to solve the other one's by myself

but for any other person having a hard time answering the questions these were my answers

You should use this forum to help you with questions AFTER you know you need help.

If you have already answered them then you do not need our input.

If you have not seriously attempted them yet then they should not be here or on any other help site.

Maybe you feel overwelmed by maths and that is why you post before you think but it is not a good thing to do.  Not good for you or for us (us = answerers on forums).

You would probably be better off to look for you tube clips where these things are explained.

If you want to learn, rather than have answers freely supplied, there are many good, free teachers who post excellent clips on youtube.

When I want to learn something new, I almost always start with you tube.

I am sure you also now know that it is unacceptable to post a lot of questions all at once.

You should not make a habit of getting answerers here to check your answers either  but if you want to do that occasionally then state that is what you are doing.
