-(1.6*(x+3.8) = 4.8*(x+1.4)

I think that a lot of people would not know what distribute means Aziz.

You need to do a lot of distributing.

First, distribute the 1.6 and 4.8. Then, distribute the negative sign on the left hand side.

Now, it should be simple algebra.

Edit: By distribute you basically multiply 1.6 to x and 3.8 as well. So, you have 1.6x and also 1.6*3.8 but you preserve the addition so it's 1.6x + (1.6*3.8). 

Same for 4.8(x + 1.4) --> 4.8*x + (4.8*1.4).
