the answer is -2x-1 but I keep getting -2x+4.. I have a feeling the mistake is right infront of my eyes, but I cant seem to figure it out :/
-2[3x-1/4(8x-2)] = distribute the -1/4 across the terms in the parentheses
-2[3x -2x + 1/2] = combine like terms in the brackets
-2 [x +1/2] = didtribute the -2 across the terms in the brackets
-2x - 1
