2x+3+4x+2=11,

Put x part on one side and the numbers without x on the other side. Remember, when do that to change the sign + and -, when changing them around. Look carefully how I do it:

2x +4x=11 - 3 - 2

6x=6, so we divide both sides with 6 and we get:

6x/6=6/6

So x=1
