3x-1/3x+2=4

If this is

(3x-1)/(3x+2)= 4         multiply both sides by 3x + 2

3x -1 = 4(3x + 2)        simplify

3x -1 = 12x + 8          subtract 12x from both sides and add 1 to both sides

-9x =  9                     divde both sides by - 9

x = -1
