You need to find two numbers that multiply to -2 and add to 1

Remember that if 2 numbers multiply to a negative then one is neg and the other is positive.

If they add to a positive then the bigger one must be the positive one.   

THEN copy what I did on your last question. 

3(x^2-2x-3)

=3(x-3)(x+1)
