y= mx + b form for a line? y = 3/8 x - 3/4
If you need a discrete answer (x,y) you will need a SECOND equation relating x and y to get a solution....you must have the same number of equations as variables to get single discrete answers.....o/w there is INFINITE answers to this equation.
