How do I find the volume of a trapezoid?

Mmm Trapezoids do not have volume they are a 2 dimensional shape!!

This is how to find the AREA of a trapezoid (We call them trapeziums)

You just find the average of the parallel sides (add them together and divide by 2)

Then multiply the  answer by the prependicular height (That is the one at 90 degrees to the bases)

That is it and it will be in unit2

Huh? I'm sorry, but that just looked like a big mess to me. And if it's a website I can't click on it.
