The increase is $90000 - $35000 = $55000

 

Expressed as a fraction of her initial salary this is 55000/35000 = 55/35 = 11/7

 

To express this as a percentage, multiply it by 100:  100*11/7 ≈ 157%  (Don't forget to put the % sign after the number).
