1.2487 ≤ 1.021^t    take the log of both sides

 

log 1.2487 ≤  log 1.021^t        an we can write

 

log 1.2487 ≤  t * log 1.021     divide by log 1.021

 

log 1.2487 / log 1.021   ≤  t

 

10.687   ≤  t
