\(2x-3+3x=90\)

add 3 to both sides

\(2x+3x=90+3\)

collect terms

\(5x=93\)

divide by 5

\(x=\frac{93}{5}\)

ta dah!

oh okay - derp moment there

just put \(\frac{5}{95}\)instead of \(\frac{3}{95}\)

which cancels to \(\frac{1}{19}\)

2x-3+3x-2=90  combine like terms on the left

5x - 5  = 90      add 5 to each sides

5x  = 95          divide both sides by 5

x = 19
