What is the function in slope-intercept form for each?

I'll do the first one.....you try the rest....if you get stuck...let me know

 

Find any two points on the graph....it appears that  (0, 1)  and (1,3)  are two of them

 

Slope  =   

 

[ subtract the y  coordinates in some order]         [ 3 - 1 ]            2

___________________________________  =  ______  =     ___   =  2

[subtract the x coordinates in the same order ]    [ 1 - 0 ]           1

 

Now.....using either one of the points  - I'll use (0,1)  ...... we can write

 

y  =  slope ( x -  x cooordinate )  +  y coordinate

 

y  =  2  (  x   - 0 )   +   (1)      

 

y  =  2 (x)    + 1

 

y  = 2x  + 1             and that's it.....!!!!

 

The slope is 2  and the y intercept   is 1
