hello, does anyone know why we use cubed instead of squared in a sphere's volume formula? thank you
Because volume is the measure of how much space is inside something. It is measurered in cubes!
squares are flat things, they do not have any thinkness, you cannot measure how much stuff will fit inside something in squares... that makes no sense .. it is going to be measured in cubes!
\(volume\; of\;sphere =\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3 \;\;units^3\)
